Amy Ewell is an industry-experienced business educator and CTE advocate. Currently the Mountainland Region CTE Pathway Coordinator, Amy represents seven school districts (Nebo, Provo, Alpine, Park City, North Summit, South Summit, and Wasatch), three charter schools (American Leadership Academy, Freedom Preparatory Academy, and Utah Academy of Sciences/Merit), MTECH and UVU. In coordination with regional CTE Directors, secondary CTE Specialists, and post-secondary Pathway Specialists, Amy plays an integral role in the development and application of CTE pathways and programs including:

► Coordinating the development of secondary and postsecondary articulation agreements and curriculum alignment
► Maintaining Career Pathways data tracking and reporting systems
► Assisting with Carl D. Perkins grant management
► Implementing/Leading advisory meetings and work-study partnerships
► Collaborating and coordinating with regional CTE professionals to assist in increasing CTE student enrollment
► Organizing, planning, and facilitating Regional events
► Ensuring CTE programs and courses align with CTE Career Pathways and postsecondary articulation requirements
► Designing CTE Career Pathways and program promotions, marketing strategies, recruitment materials, articulation materials, and various education and outreach materials throughout the region's secondary, postsecondary, and industry partners
► Updating regional CTE pathways website
► Serving as an advocate and resource for CTE throughout the region

Amy was previously awarded the 2020/2021 Teacher of the Year and Crystal Apple Award for 2019/2020 at The Advanced Learning Center. As a current member of the USBE Business Advisory Committee, Amy recently helped rewrite the strands and standards for Digital Marketing and Business Law and taught multiple USBE-sponsored Digital Marketing Bootcamp summer courses to facilitate L1 endorsement applications.

Amy has an extensive background in search engine optimization (SEO), sales, management, marketing, digital analytics, and email marketing. Prior to working for Nebo School District, she led the Savvy Shopper marketing and sales team for the Daily Herald newspaper. While there she managed the day-to-day functions of this award-winning multifaceted program, coordinated sales and data entry teams, led social content creation, taught finance seminars, wrote weekly savings columns, and emceed events throughout the state of Utah. Amy left the newspaper to start her own online business, where she made many guest appearances on Fox 13 as well as other local news programs.
